The Process
Screen printing is the art of transferring ink through a mesh screen using a squeegee. This process is also referred to as ‘silk screening’ or ‘silk screen printing,’ and while the processes are similar, the materials and methods may vary. Designs used for screen printing can vary from a single color to several, and in the case of multiple colors, each color must be placed in layers once the previous color has dried to prevent it from lifting.
